Rachel Brouwer currently works as an assistant professor in Neuroimaging group of the Department of Psychiatry in the University Medical Center Utrecht. She graduated from the University of Amsterdam in Business and Industrial Statistics in 1999 and in Mathematics in 2001. Subsequently, she did a PhD at the Center of Mathematics (CWI) in Amsterdam under supervision of Rob van den Berg. In 2006, she started to work at the Department of Psychiatry.

 Main research interests: longitudinal imaging, twin and family studies, adolescent development, genetics of brain changes.
